STEM Igniters have joined forces with MATH Simplified to ensure the personal and academic advancements of students in Grades 7-12 at Boston Latin Academy through their incredible S.T.E.M focused after-school tutoring program. Courtesy of this noteworthy program, students will be afforded tutoring at no cost, they will be exposed to STEM-related careers and organizations, and provided with an avenue wherein they can learn from leading industry players.
Areas of Focus
For the 2022- 2023 academic year, this program will offer personalized tutoring in Engineering and Mathematics.
Benefits to Students
- A thorough understanding of STEM concepts and careers through hands-on projects, job shadows, career panels, and exposure to STEM-focused organizations.
- Students will be able to prudently apply classroom knowledge to solve real-world problems.
- Students will gain access to personalized lessons and homework support.
How to Participate?
Tutoring sessions will be held twice (2) weekly at the Boston Latin Academy.
Mathematics Tutoring: Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in Room 223.
Engineering Tutoring: Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in Room 220.
