OUR STORY

MATH Simplified was engineered in early 2020 to inspire a love for Mathematics in a fun and enriching manner. We are acutely aware of the many challenges that this subject matter poses to students and adult learners alike. As such, we have expertly formulated our program to remedy said challenges, but also to sharpen our students’ analytic and critical thinking capabilities. We are in the business of positioning students for success and molding them into world-class leaders and innovators.

Successes

We boast several scholars from the region who have all outperformed their counterparts in examinations at the state/parish and national levels. These students have all gone on to pursue studies at leading universities.

Community Impact

During 2021, at the height of the pandemic, we launched a GoFundMe campaign geared towards advancing the academic and socio-economic development of students from Jamaica. Through this worthwhile initiative, we were able to gift forty-five (45) tablets to  Jamaican students from fifteen (15) schools to access lessons taught online.

Programs

Over the last two (2) years we have positively impacted the lives of students from the region courtesy of our ‘MATH Simplified Essay Competition’ and most recently our ‘MATH Whizz Virtual Mathematics Competition’. Presently, students between the ages of 10 – 17 years, who are enrolled in our program can participate in the upcoming staging of our ‘MATH Whizz Virtual Mathematics Competition’.

Free Resources

We offer interesting and insightful video tutorials on our YouTube channel. Additionally, we also have weekly Live Mathematics tutoring sessions on our Instagram and Facebook platforms where students can gain clarity on varying challenging topics and secure answers to pressing questions. We also feature weekly past paper questions on our social media channels and have created a Facebook ‘Homework Group’ where students can lend requisite assistance to each other in a safe and judgment-free space.

  1. Our tutors are experts at instructing students in a clear, concise, and fun manner, regularly preparing lesson plans that are engaging and incorporate the curriculum.
  2. Our program provides adequate and structured preparation for major examinations, for example, MAP Growth Test, GED, SAT, ACT, SSAT, PSAT, CSEC, ISEE, and PEP. 
  3. Our personalized lessons are supplemented by bi-weekly quizzes, homework support, video tutorials, exam practice questions, and recorded lessons.
  4.  We meticulously track and record their progress and keep records up to date for progress reports. 
  1. Individual/ One-On-One sessions

Our individual/one-on-one personalized instructions are tailored to provide students with a deeper understanding of the subject matter and allow them to learn at their own pace.

2. Group sessions

Our small group instructions have been successful at elevating the confidence levels of students and keeping them engaged as they sought to master the discipline.

We provide affordable rates that are in keeping with parents’ budgets. Additionally, we are currently offering a 10% discount on all classes until December 2023 (20% for students studying in Jamaica).

We offer Mathematics tutoring to students aged 8- 18 years, as well as adult learners.

Our personalized lessons are crafted for both types of students. For advanced students, we will seek to expand their knowledge and mathematical skills. Additionally, we will take targeted steps at strengthening areas of weakness among struggling students and assist them in excelling in the discipline.

Our classes are supplemented by bi-weekly quizzes, homework support, video tutorials, exam practice questions, recorded lessons, and our social media-powered tutorials.

We recommend that students should participate in our program until all learning objectives are met and parents are pleased with their accomplishments.
